Homemade Granola

Lately, I have been trying to make some of my household staples at home so as to avoid the typical surplus of unnecessary ingredients. Homemade granola is by far one of the easiest recipes I’ve come up with so far!

Ingredients

Directions

  • 4 cups oats

  • 1 cup dried fruit

  • 1 cup nuts and seeds mix of choice

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • ½ cup runny honey

  • ½ cup melted coconut oil

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

  2. Add wet ingredients and mix until everything is thoroughly coated and sticky.

  3. Scoop mixture into 2 thin sheet pans or 1 deep sheet pan. Press the granola down firmly and evenly.

  4. Bake at 400 F/200 C for 30 minutes. Once done, let the granola sit in the pans cooling for at least 30 minutes

  5. Break granola apart into chunks and store in a large container for up to 3 weeks.
